How to Start an Ink Cartridge Recycling Program

Although they may be small and might not seem to have much of an overarching effect on the future of our world, ink cartridge recycling is easily one of the most important things that anyone can easily do. And that truly means anyone, ink cartridge recycling is not just for business people, it can truly be done by anyone who owns, works with, or is ever even near printers. This is because it requires such little effort that if done correctly, it can be a completely passive affair ninety nine percent of the time.

In order to have such a profound effect on the Earth while literally doing almost nothing a vast majority of the time, the key is to start a cartridge recycling program. These programs are beautiful because they are eco friendly, anyone and everyone in their right mind would support them, and once you inform people that it exists your jobs is largely over. That really is it and it is all you need to do. Almost all of the work is just informing people that the program exists, and maybe reminding them every once in a while. And if that is too much work for you, just put a bin by the copy machines or a sign by the printers and it will literally run itself.

Once you have set the program up, you have to choose what to do with the used ink cartridges. Many retail stores that sell printers and printer accessories already have programs set up and will take these goods off of you free of charge. Another idea is to search the internet, since some websites will pay for you to ship out your recyclables. And as if that isn’t enough, some of these websites will even pay you for your used printer cartridges!
