Recycle HP Laserjet Toner
Recycling is one of the most important things that the average person can do on a regular basis. Furthermore, of everything that a person can recycle, the cartridges for your HP Laserjet toner printer should almost certainly be towards the top of the list. Why, you might ask? How much of an actual influence could those tiny HP laserjet toner cartridges actually have on the world? They seem to be so small that they couldnt really be as important as recycling something like a car or a computer. Unfortunately, all of these statements are wrong, and not just because it is important to recycle everything regardless of size and influence on the Earth.
There are two main reasons why recycling these printer products is so important to the future of our world. The first reason is their quantity. It may seem surprising how many of these printer cartridges are used and thrown away each year. Many experts estimate that over one billion of these cartridges of all sizes and purchased throughout the world each and every year. That is nearly one printer cartridge per year for every six people in the world, and that number is absolutely massive. Unfortunately, a very small percentage of these are recycled at all, causing huge amounts of refuse and garbage in our landfills throughout the world.
The second reason has to do with the construction of the product itself. These printer cartridges are made to very high standards and are often relatively universal in their construction, or at least very similar. This means that it is usually very easy to reuse, recycle, or remanufacture these goods. This would require much, much less of an impact on the Earth if it was followed by more people more often, and it could even lower the costs of these expensive products.
